Forest Bathing+

Forest Bathing+ is a nature-based wellbeing practice rooted in the traditional Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, meaning “forest bathing” or “immersing in the forest atmosphere.” But this isn’t just a mindful walk in the woods — it’s a carefully guided experience that draws on scientific evidence to maximise the potential benefits for your body and mind.

We combine the core principles of forest bathing — slowing down, engaging the senses, and cultivating presence — with up-to-date research from ecology, psychology, and health sciences. The result is a deeper, more intentional experience designed to support nervous system regulation, immune function, and mental clarity, while helping you feel more connected to yourself and the natural world.

Whether you're new to forest bathing or have experienced it before, Forest Bathing+ offers a richer, evidence-informed approach. Sessions are thoughtfully structured to create opportunities for:

🌿 Reduced stress and anxiety
🌿 Improved focus and mood
🌿 Greater connection with nature and self
🌿 Restorative rest for the body and mind
🌿 Gentle movement and sensory awareness

We hold sessions in beautiful, biodiverse locations in Derby, including Kedleston Hall Estate and Allestree Park. No special equipment, knowledge, or fitness level is needed — just an openness to slow down and be present.

If you’re curious about what the natural world can offer your wellbeing, Forest Bathing+ is a gentle, powerful place to start.
